Heat pumps collect energy from outside the property and moves it inside for heating, hot water and cooling.
Heat pumps provide energy-efficient heating and cooling, reducing utility bills and environmental impact by efficiently transferring heat between the indoors and outdoors.
Ground source heat pump systems are relatively expensive to install, but given the high efficiency it is often the best heat pump option in the long run.

For most properties, this is the easiest option for replacing a boiler with a renewable heating system. Used to heat your property and domestic hot water. Can also be used for cooling and pool-heating.

Continuing our successful decarbonisation partnership with Summit Care Group, this project targeted the domestic hot water (DHW) supply at Whittington Care Home in Chesterfield. We installed a standalone 24 kW cascade system featuring two Vaillant aroTHERM Plus air-source heat pumps and 1000 litres of dedicated hot water storage. This upgrade provides a resilient and efficient hot water supply essential for resident care, significantly lowering the home's operational costs and carbon footprint. The project highlights a pragmatic approach to sustainability, modernising a critical energy load without the need to replace the building's existing heating system.
