Heat pumps
Ground, air or water
These systems act as a highly efficient primary heat source, moving thermal energy from the environment into the building. They are the foundation for compliance with upcoming building regulations (e.g., operating efficiently at flow temperatures below 55°C).
Solar PV and Battery Storage
Photovoltaics
PV panels generate clean electricity on-site. The Battery Storage unit stores this energy, making it available for system use when the sun isn’t shining or when grid tariffs are highest.
Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery
MVHR
This system manages indoor air quality in airtight buildings, recovering up to 90% of heat from outgoing air. It dramatically reduces the heating demand on the heat pump, which allows for a smaller plant room and lower capital cost.
Underfloor Heating
Clip/screed or boarded systems
UFH uses a large surface area to distribute heat at low flow temperatures, making it the ideal partner for maximising a heat pump’s operational efficiency (COP/SCOP).
