Better Planet was commissioned to design, supply and install a ground source heat pump and underfloor heating for this self built property in Arbroath, Angus. For a property like this where oil or LPG would have been the alternative, a heat pump in combination with under floor was an easy choice. The system is supported by horizontal loops and is designed to operated at the lowest possible flow temperatures in the heating circuit, resulting in a very good efficiency (COP).

I am very pleased with the system so far and have been impressed with Better Planet’s attention to detail and friendly approach, says Mr Hay, the owner of the property.
