Equipment: Panels and inverters

Most home owners aim at installing close to 4 kWp in order to maximise the benefit from the Feed in Tariffs. With the monocristalline panels we recommend from Amerisolar, 4 kWp corresponds to 20 x 200Wp panels (4 kWp) or 16 x 250Wp panels (4 kWp). Where roof space is limited, high performing hybrid panels such as Panasonic can be used. Panasonic panels are more expensive than monocristalline panels and they give a higher output per m².

16 x 250Wp Panasonic, hybrid panels:

For some big properties it is possible to install 10 kWp, the upper limit of the second band of Feed in Tariffs. The required roof space for such a system is:

We are using high quality products from leading manufacturer aiming at offering the best value for money for our clients. If you have a preference for a certain panel, we will be able to source it for you.

Panels

We have used panels from Amerisolar for most of our installations as they represent very good value for money. Their panels come with outstanding warranties. In some cases, when clients are keen to maximise the output from a smaller roof, Panasonic (former Sanyo) panels can be used.
