One of the many advantages of having under floor heating and a ground source heat pump is that you can use this system to produce under floor cooling in the summer. Cold water circulates through under floor pipes and helps to cool the space. The water in these pipes heats up and is then transferred to the ground via a heat exchanger. This cools the water in the under floor pipes which is then re-circulated around the space.
